Streak Watch: Las Vegas Aces Have Won 9 Straight (WNBA)

There are six clubs carrying streaks of three games or longer at the moment, which tells you something about how streaky this stretch of the calendar has been.

The win-column crowd

The longest active run belongs to Las Vegas Aces: nine consecutive wins. Nobody stays hot forever, but while it lasts, every night has looked like a rerun of the same comfortable movie.

Behind them, Atlanta Dream have quietly won 7 in a row.

And Golden State Valkyries make it a crowd with 3 consecutive wins.

The skids

On the other side of the ledger, Toronto Tempo have dropped eight straight. Losing streaks carry their own gravity, the pressing starts, the bounces stop cooperating, and close games keep finding the same ending.

It is not much prettier for TBD, losers of 8 straight.
