About Petra Kvitova

Born on March 8, 1990, in Bilovec, Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic, Petra Kvitova represented the Czech Republic on the WTA Tour. She played left-handed with a two-handed backhand and turned pro in 2006. Her Wimbledon titles included those of 2011 and 2014. In 2018 she won 5 titles, among them the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy and the Mutua Madrid Open. Kvitova retired in 2025.
